"It is with deep sorrow that Ukrainian parliament members learned of a terrible railway accident near Barcelona that caused numerous casualties", the telegrams read.

On behalf of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, V.Lytvyn conveyed sincere condolences to the bereaved families and wished rapid recovery to the injured.
